Ale and Ramiro connected over their shared food experiences as they both have roots in El Salvador, Central America. Their bed is named after an NBA player who is active in food relief efforts, and is planted out to reflect Fried Yucca, a dish they both grew up eating. Since Yucca can’t grow in CT because of climate, they swapped that root vegetable for another: potatoes!
