Adult Education Series – Farming IS Political – Farm Bill

Come out to learn about the Farm Bill. A large portion of the funding goes to rural agriculture but what about urban farmers and urban agriculture? Isn’t it time our communities get a bigger slice of the pie (and not just SNAP)?

Community members are welcomed to join our education series “Farming IS Political”.  We will be offering three workshops to educate residents on the issues of food access, food sovereignty and the role of land ownership plays in fight for independence.
